Ohio Northern University's Pettit College of Law held a ceremony celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the L.L.M Program on November 1. 

1960's concert rocks the bear cave

On Oct. 24, a concert for music from the 1960's was held in the bear cave at 7:15 pm. The concert was the result of the new course on campus, History of Rock 'N Roll in the 1960's.

ONU Wind Orchestra sets its standards high

The Wind Orchestra’s Setting The Standard concert at ONU is a marvelous example of student involvement in the university. From the musicians, attendees and even the Freed Center staff, students worked every aspect of this production. Within the orchestra itself, students from all over the university, regardless of major are able to participate as a musician in the orchestra. It’s here in the orchestra that students whose paths may never cross otherwise, get to meet and create lasting relationships.

Floridian, Georgian ONU football players compete in midst of Southern hurricanes

While the Northern football team has dealt with struggles on the field this season -- the Polar Bears are 4-4 and rebuilding after losing multiple key seniors from last year’s team -- some players have dealt with distractions at home due to hurricanes that have swept through the South.

There are 23 players on the team’s roster from Florida and four from Georgia, according to head coach Dean Paul.

Ohio Northern University's Polaris Literary Magazine hosted a Scary Rapid Fire Reading on October 26. The annual event encourages their own writing or bring popular works.
