Student creates first ONU Snapchat Geofilter

On Tuesday, Snapchat approved a design for ONU's first ever Snapchat Geofilter. The creator of the simple, yet effective design? Alex Sibila, a sophomore Electrical Engineering major.

The Ohio Northern football team fell to Baldwin Wallace by a score of 28-27 on Saturday, in their annual night game at Dial-Roberson Stadium. The Polar Bears missed three field goals and two extra points, while also committing costly red-zone turnovers in the loss. ONU fell to 1-1 with the loss, while BW improved to 1-1.

The ONU football team opened their season with a comeback win over Utica (N.Y.) on Saturday afternoon, 29-22. Freshman quarterback Will Freed threw for 439 yards and three touchdowns in his first collegiate start.

Last Wednesday night, former Ohio Northern student-athlete Brock Hersch tweeted a video set the Internet ablaze. The video was a compilation of 'Hello's,' the greeting which ONU Professor of Mathematics Dr. Khristo Boyadzhiev gives to his classes every day. Hersch had tried to record Boyadzhiev every day during his Differential Equations class last year, and the resulting video went viral last week.
