On Feb. 23, readers gathered inside the Heterick Memorial Library to discuss multicultural literature. The event was co-sponsored by the English Department's Sigma Tau Delta and ONU's Office of Multicultural Development.

Ohio Northern University's Sigma Tau Delta's "Banned Books Reading & Discussion" allows students, faculty, and the rest of the campus community a chance to celebrate literature in the library. 

Visiting writer Alissa Nutting showcases writing talents for English students

On Wednesday, October 15, the English Department held its first Fall Reading Series event. Junior creative writing majors Tessa Cross and Ricki Ervin read selections from their work. Visiting writer Alissa Nutting also read an excerpt from her writing and answered questions from the audience.
