Innocence on death row has become a hot topic in the field of politics and criminal justice.  Derrick Jamison, who was released from death row in 2005, shared his 20 years of experience on death row with students, hoping to encourage young adults to press Congress towards change.

Dr. Holly Baumgartner, Dean of The Getty College, displays several of her most prized cameras from her collection of over 80. The Dean began collecting cameras when she was a freshman in college.

Visual media has become quite popular in the past decade with the development of smartphones and various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. Children and teenagers are quickly finding their way around the digital world. As a young college woman herself, Dean Holly Baumgartner found her way around the visual world after one visit to a flea market helped her to find a passion for old cameras.

A management majors backpack is essential to their day-to-day life. Hopping around from class to class this major goes from business writing to statistics, these students have a plethora of items from multiple notebooks to external hard drives, management students are always prepared.

Cody Clark is a sophomore Business Management major from Dayton, Ohio. Clark chose his management major because he enjoys being a leader in his everyday life and he loves to problem solve.

Delta Sigma Phi Jumps for Charity

Delta Sigma Phi’s annual Polar Plunge has served as a unique way to unite the campus community for seven years.  Students participating Delta Sigma Phi’s annual Polar Plunge took a leap into the University Circle pond in support of the fraternity’s national philanthropy, the American Red Cross. 

Participants receive a shirt and an icy experience for their donation.  The brothers, in full support of the Plunge, can be sponsored to jump in for a small donation.  However, the brother may buy it out by donating twice the amount.
