Mar 20, 2014

The Department of Multicultural Development wants you… to attend the fair, that is.

Friday, March 28 is the day of the annual Multicultural Fair in the McIntosh Activities room from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.-- and everyone is invited.

The purpose of the fair is to celebrate the variety of cultures at ONU, to make sure they are all represented, said Jamienne Scott, international services coordinator.

"This is an opportunity to see the world without stepping your foot off campus."

Several students played a popular Arab game called Carrom, which is of eastern origin and similar to billiards or table shuffleboard, while others played the more common games of Apples to Apples and Jenga. Everyone was talking, laughing and having fun.
