4 Years of Memories, 30 Years to Forget, 1 Weekend to Remember

Homecoming, a time when alumni travel back to polar bear country and reflect on the old times. To help them remember their “college days” several alumni even revisit their favorite spot on campus, allowing them to reminisce what was and what currently is.

Lorrie “Campbell” Bianco was an alumnus from the class of 1987, who was celebrating her 30 years out of college. Although many of her classmates that she personally knew were not able to make it back for Homecoming, it didn’t stop Bianco from reflecting back on the memories that were made 30 years ago.

This weekend, approximately one thousand family members of Ohio Northern students will come to campus to enjoy a weekend of festivities.

There will be movies on the tundra, food trucks, live bands, magicians and more. In addition, attending the festivities will be free of charge.

The first ever Family and Siblings Weekend, hosted by the Student Senate and co-sponsored by the Student Planning Committee, Greek Life and Northern Christian Fellowship, however, could not be executed without the blood, sweat and tears of Senate forums secretary Derek Price.

Tunes on the Tundra gave way to an explosive performance by Asher Roth

On September 30, rapper Asher Roth performed in King Horn for the Tunes on the Tundra held by Ohio Northern University's Student Senate. Although Roth was not the students' choice, the crowd was enthusiastic and responsive.

On Sept. 4, Ohio Northern University's Student Senate re-introduced Tunes on the Tundra, a lively show featuring bands We The Kings and PUBLIC. The concert was a success with more than 700 people in attendance.
