It is challenging to be a college student, with the demanding workload of classes and balancing that with extracurricular activities and a social life. Becoming a well-rounded student can be a daunting, seemingly impossible task to some people.​

The long hours spent in the library studying for exams, reading textbooks and going to class leave little room for further ventures. It may only be reasonable to add one, maybe two extra activities on top of school work. Who has time for anything else?​

It is not unusual for students to change their major throughout their college career. As students try and find their interests and use that to put them on a career path that they will enjoy, they discover more about themselves. Sophomore public relations major, Joe Dunay, is one such student.

It is hard to find an Ohio Northern Student more stressed than during the weeks leading up to finals.​

Many students spend countless hours in the library, only leaving for food or when the lights flicker indicating the closing time. Others take refuge in their dorm rooms staying up until the early hours of the morning or pulling an “all-nighter” to complete that last-minute project.​

Ohio Northern University Plans to Honor Dr. King

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is an icon of the civil rights movement, and his speech at Ohio Northern University was a signature moment in the history of the University, said President DiBiasio.​

Dr. John Lomax had the same thoughts when he had the idea to commemorate the speech that Dr. King gave here on Northern's campus by commissioning the creation of a statue.​
