Taylor Daniel is a junior at Ohio Northern University from Columbia City, Indiana. She majors in art education with a concentration in pre-art therapy. Daniel’s interest in art has stemmed from a lifetime of creative expression starting when she was a child.

Daniel recalls being a little kid and always doing something artistic. Whether it was coloring, drawing or painting she was always doing something creative. Her parents and teachers were always supporting her love of art by pushing her to pursue her creative passions.

Ohio Northern University is like a second home for every student who attends the university.

Ohio Northern is just that kind of place. The university makes its students feel as if they have the support of their family and closest friends all year round. There is a closeness and a connection between students and their professors that cannot be rivaled by any other university.

It is challenging to be a college student, with the demanding workload of classes and balancing that with extracurricular activities and a social life. Becoming a well-rounded student can be a daunting, seemingly impossible task to some people.

The long hours spent in the library studying for exams, reading textbooks and going to class leave little room for further ventures. It may only be reasonable to add one, maybe two extra activities on top of school work. Who has time for anything else?
