Polaris Valentine's Rapid Fire Reading

It's that time of the year again! Polaris Literary Magazine is offering its annual Valentine's Rapid Fire Reading on Thursday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. inside the Elzay Gallery of Art. The event features ONU students and faculty reading Valentine-themed poems and stories of five minutes or less. To read, sign-up at the English Department's front office desk inside Dukes Memorial.

English Reading Series: Janisse Ray

As part of the CIC Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows program, Janisse Ray, an environmental nonfiction writer, is offering a public reading on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. inside the College of Law's Moot Court Room. She will read a selection of her writing, as well as answer questions. The event is free and open to the public. A reception is offered prior to the reading at 6:30 p.m.

Visiting environmental writer Janisse Ray will be on campus this week for discussions, readings, and workshops. The first event is a Brown Bag Talks on Monday, Feb. 9 at 11:30 a.m. inside McIntosh Center's Dean's Heritage Room.

Ohio Northern University students have the opportunity to meet with environmental writer Janisse Ray this week as part of the CIC Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellows program. The public has the chance to listen to Ray present her writing at a public reading on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. inside the College of Law's Moot Court Room.

Exhibit shows fine theater craftsmanship

Integration across disciplines isn’t just a learning outcome.  It’s a concept come to life in the Elzay Gallery’s Ezekiel Award Winners exhibit. Theater and art have always had a partnership, but the exhibit solidifies that bond. Sketches and photographs showing lighting design, scenic design, scenic craft and costume design are the exhibit’s mainstays.
