Because of the busy schedules everyone has, it is easy to get caught up in the life directly around you. In the case that you find a few minutes of free time it is good to take a step back and realize how big the world we live in actually is! Below I have included a few key global events happening this week. All you have to do is read! 

Latin America

As time moves forward at a university, some organizations and groups grow, while others shrink. One of the groups to grow in the past few years is ONU’s Religious Life, as seen with this year’s Spirit Space event.

With Greek Life recruitment starting up, a key part of joining Greek organizations is participating in the service and good works they do for their campus and surrounding community. 

Philanthropy events at Ohio Northern University can range from events tailored around food such as Alpha Xi Delta’s Mac-N-Cheese with the Alpha Xi’s, Delta Zeta’s Smore’s for Starkey, and Theta Chi’s Tacos for Troops, to fun and engaging events such as Zeta Tau Alpha’s 5K, Kappa Alpha Theta’s Bump, Set, Kite, and Delta Sigma Phi’s Polar Plunge.
