Fall Paintings at SPC Paint and Sip

As a part of their monthly events, SPC decided to host a paint and sip for fall. While paint and sips are often a drinking affair, the only requirements are a group of painters, an idea, tons of paint, and a teacher. So SPC has found a way to open them up for the general student body: having a student lead the event.

With Greek Life recruitment starting up, a key part of joining Greek organizations is participating in the service and good works they do for their campus and surrounding community. 

Philanthropy events at Ohio Northern University can range from events tailored around food such as Alpha Xi Delta’s Mac-N-Cheese with the Alpha Xi’s, Delta Zeta’s Smore’s for Starkey, and Theta Chi’s Tacos for Troops, to fun and engaging events such as Zeta Tau Alpha’s 5K, Kappa Alpha Theta’s Bump, Set, Kite, and Delta Sigma Phi’s Polar Plunge. 

Night to Shine creates safe prom environment for young special needs people

The dresses, the venue and the fun date makes prom a night of excitement and fun for most students. For the special needs community it can be hard to find prom as special as everyone else.

The Tim Tebow Foundation started Night To Shine for that exact reason.

Melinda McIntosh is a triple threat at Ohio Northern University

Melinda McIntosh makes juggling her academics, a varsity sport, and being on the executive board of a sorority  look easy.  She is a highly involved and passionate student at Ohio Northern.

Melinda is a Junior Criminal Justice and Psychology major with a Communications minor. This major is driven by her father who is a detective. This a field of which has always been her interest.

“I joke that first comes graduation and then the Mac wall...for some that may even be reversed,” Trevor Jones said.

Trevor Jones is the campuses number one photographer and manages to capture the small moment's students didn’t even know needed to be photographed. Those feelings are precisely what the Mac wall photos show off.
