Panhellenic Council promotes scholarship

The month of February is designated by the National Panhellenic Conference as Month of the Scholar. Here at Ohio Northern, the Panhellenic Council is hard at work to promote scholarship and academic standards of excellence for all campus women.

Becca Worden, Vice President of Scholarship, has developed many creative ideas to motivate Greek women to stay on task this month, including dropping off study snacks to each chapter house. Additionally, Becca and the Panhellenic Council have worked hard to celebrate Greek women whose academic achievement already shines. Each chapter house received a beautiful bouquet of red roses, dedicated to each woman of that Greek organization who made the Dean's List last semester.

The Panhellenic Council blog is currently featuring Scholarship Spotlights on Greek women nominated by their chapters who work diligently to uphold high standards of academic excellence. So far, the blog has featured Kappa Alpha Theta's Mikayla Shea, Zeta Tau Alpha's Taryn Stromback and Alpha Xi Delta's Marissa Mauro. Additionally, the blog will feature a list of the names of all Greek women who achieved a spot on the Dean's List last semester.
