After a long and hard-working year of producing yet another fantastic journal of literary works, the staff of Polaris, Ohio Northern University’s undergraduate literary journal, is ready to party. For the first time in its existence, the journal’s release party is off-campus at El Campo, a Mexican cuisine restaurant in Ada, Ohio. The staff members welcome everyone in the ONU and Ada communities to join them on Thursday, April 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Stop by and enjoy free food, free copies of the recently printed 2014-2015 print journal, and hear readings from the talented ONU contributors. What is a better way to spend your evening than surrounded by free delicious El Campo food and good literature?

While you are at the party, talk to the editors about how you can become involved in Polaris for the 2015-2016 publication. The journal meets every Tuesday evening during the school year at 4:30 p.m. inside Dukes Memorial Hall. The journal invites students from every major to become involved in the process of publishing an intriguing journal.

So, if you want to learn more about Polaris, or if you just want a good collection of literature to read while you’re sitting at the beach this summer, then go to the Polaris release party tomorrow evening. Let’s party like Jay Gatsby.
