Presidential candidate Smith always lies on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and always tells the truth on other days. Presidential candidate Jones always lies on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and always tells the truth on other days.

On what days of the week would…

  • Smith say “today is one of my lying days”?
  • Jones say “yesterday was one of my lying days”?
  • both Smith and Jones say “the other presidential candidate is lying today”?
  • at least one of the two presidential candidates say “the other presidential candidate was lying yesterday”?
  • neither Smith nor Jones say “the other presidential candidate will be lying tomorrow”?
  • Jones say “today Smith would say ‘tomorrow will be one of Jones’ lying days’ ”?
