What would you expect to find in a college coaches office? Head coach of Men’s lacrosse Nat St. Laurent takes us on a quick tour around his workspace.

At his desk you find the usual notepad, laptop, and a couple notebooks. As you look around on the walls you start to see memorabilia that you might not find in a usual office. In the summer St. Laurent spends his time with his family, and also spends time coaching the Ohio Machine, which is a professional lacrosse team out of Columbus that competes in the MLL. This summer he helped the Machine win their first ever MLL championship. You can find his custom Machine jersey on the wall, as well as pictures of the squad after the MLL championship game on his desk.

On the shelving you can find tokens of some great memories, such as a photo of the first athletic training staff assist the men’s lacrosse team, as well as an NCAA participation trophy from Washington and Lee (VA) where St. Laurent comes to us from.

If you look over to the side desk you can see the practice uniforms for the 2017-2018 season, as well as a custom pair of gloves given to St. Laurent.

“The recruits like this desk the most,” St. Laurent said. “They always love to see the new gear.”

On the same desk, you can also find an electronic picture frame which has a slideshow of his family.

When asked what his favorite item in his office is without hesitation he replied, “My picture frame of my family. Whenever I get frustrated looking at film or stressed about anything I look at pictures of my family to remind me of what really is the most important thing in life”

“We are super excited to get to work this season,” St. Laurent said. “I’m confident this team can help put more memories on these walls.”
