Team 3: A Season with ONU’s Newest Contender - Ep. 6

This spring, Northern Review sports editor Grant Pepper followed the Ohio Northern men’s lacrosse team as they entered their third year of competition. The team finished seventh in the OAC in year one and fifth in year two, and this year they earned a share of their first conference title.

The sixth and final episode of this running video series wraps up the season, following ONU’s loss to Baldwin Wallace in the semifinals of the OAC Tournament. The Polar Bears finished the year with a 14-3 record (7-1 in the OAC), as 2018 marked the winningest season in program history. They qualified for the OAC Tournament for the first time, earning the two-seed and hosting the semifinal game.

Nine players were named to All-OAC teams and the coaching staff was named ‘OAC Coaching Staff of the Year’ for the first time.
