ONU has been experiencing network trouble attempting to accommodate the release of the highly anticipated video game Destiny. The problem is not isolated to ONU, but is a nation-wide problem for college students.

Here at ONU, athletics are held very dearly among all who tread the grounds of this fine institution. The students, faculty and alumni view the Polar Bears as one of the most talented and most intimidating teams in the NCAA, and two teams that are laying their hearts on the field are the ONU men’s soccer team and the ONU women’s soccer team. With the widespread phenomenon which was the 2014 FIFA World Cup behind us, it’s time we took a look at two teams who may not be as renowned, but are no less talented and committed to the sport they love.

There are many ways one can examine the dominance that fellow OAC member Mount Union has displayed over the past decade. When the Polar Bears take the field against the Purple Raiders on Oct. 5 it will have been eight years, 12 days, and 21 hours since their last regular season loss, which came at the hands of Ohio Northern on Sept. 22, 2005. ONU beat the Purple Raiders at Mount Union Stadium by a score of 21-14, which ended their 111-game winning streak.
