Society for Collegiate Journalists meet in Atlanta for Biennium

Ohio Northern University's chapter of the Society for Collegiate Journalists attended the annual Biennium in Atlanta, Georgia. Students discussed various issues and concerns in journalism and college media.

New Society of Collegiate Journalists chapter joins ONU campus

Many multimedia journalism majors have the same question: Why isn’t there an on-campus organization that celebrates journalism and its majors?

Dr. Shane Tilton, faculty advisor of SCJ, began work earlier in this semester to bring an SCJ chapter to campus. On Dec. 1, Dr. Tilton hosted the initiation ceremony in the Mac’s Wishing Well banquet room.

Ashlee McDonnell, newly elected vice president of the chapter, wasn’t sure what to expect from the ceremony.
