Heterick celebrates release of 'Harry Potter'

Heterick Memorial Library is hosting a Harry Potter-themed event to celebrate 20 years since the publication of the first book of the seven book series.  The first book, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone," was originally published in the United Kingdom as "Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone" in 1997, but it wasn’t released in the United States until 1998 with its title changed.

A black door landed on the sidewalk in front of The McIntosh Center, the morning of Oct. 10, leaving the student body and faculty questioning its origin and what is was doing on the sidewalk. Some students questioned if it was a joke “portal” to a different dimension; other believed it was a simple prank to throw us out of our day-to-day lives.

Heterick Memorial Library extends its hours

Campus is a very busy and noisy atmosphere. Heterick Memorial Library is often a great escape from this to complete homework and assignments. Students enjoy having the library as a safe place to get work done. Student Senate has responded to this by attempting to maximize the library's opportunities for students.

The library is now open Monday through Thursday until 1:00 a.m. in the morning.

Changes come to Zeta Tau Alpha's think pink game

The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha and the ONU Football team helped contribute to putting a stop to Breast Cancer with their annual pink football game Oct. 12, 2018.

The Zeta Tau Alpha sorority has been putting on the pink football game for many years and is not just done at ONU. Every Zeta Tau Alpha chapter across the nation holds a pink football game in order to support this philanthropy.
