“Survivor Man” Les Stroud coming to ONU

Les Stroud, creator and star of “Survivor Man,” a survival show distributed across Canada and the United States will perform at the Freed Center's Biggs Theater at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 29. Stroud's show will feature a combination of his adventures, film making and music.

Solar Panel Array Begins Construction

GEM Energy has officially began construction on a 2 megawatt solar panel field that will supply energy to ONU.

At the solar field’s ground breaking ceremony several individuals significant in the projects development were present such as ONU President Dr. Daniel DiBiasio, Director of Sustainability Terry Keiser and GEM Energy President Bill Alexander.    

'Tunes on the Tundra' turns up despite change in plans

The American hip-hop artist performs his most popular music on Sept. 30, providing a night of fun and excitement. The event was sponsored by Ohio Northern's Student Senate.

The stage was set, and the lights went down in anticipation for a night of thrill featuring American hip-hop artist Asher Roth on Sept. 30 at the King-Horn Sports Center on Ohio Northern University’s campus. The concert, dubbed as “Tunes on the Tundra,” was sponsored by ONU’s Student Senate.

This year’s Fall Career and Graduate School Fair gave 267 students the chance to network with potential employers and universities.

Each semester, Polar Careers hosts these networking opportunities to “give students the resources and connections that they need to set up a career.”
