Polaris represents ONU at the annual AWP conference in Tampa, FL

The Association of Writers & Writing Programs, also known as AWP, welcomes writers from all across the country for a week of networking, keynote speakers and opportunities for individuals to share their passion for writing every year. While college students were on Spring Break in March, Ohio Northern University’s undergraduate creative writing journal, Polaris, sent its editors and advisor to the annual AWP Conference in Tampa, Florida. From March 7-11, the Polaris staff were given the AWP experience, along with the chance to explore the city of Tampa. 

Polaris literary magazine beginning to wrap up this year's edition

Ohio Northern’s literary magazine is working hard as the deadline to finish draws nearer. Polaris is an annual undergraduate publication released at the end of each spring semester. The magazine contains published works from nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and art submissions. The date to enter submissions has passed and now is when the challenge for the group begins.

"Polaris" celebrates Valentine's Day with Rapid Fire Reading

Ohio Northern University's undergraduate literary journal, "Polaris," presented its annual Valentine's Day Rapid Fire Reading on Feb. 14. Students brought a variety of favorite poems, stories and original work for the Ada community.
