How the ONU counseling center helped me become a senior

After facing a tragedy I was recommended to utilize ONU's counseling center as a resource. I quickly went from not even knowing where the building was to developing a strong relationship with the people who work there. My experience has been so amazing that I want to lead others in their direction.

“You’re an education major? Wow, you must have it so easy!” 

Any education major has heard phrases like this numerous times. Every single major is difficult in its own way. Each has its own assignments, challenges, and expectations. Education is not an exception.

Education majors are required to complete the same amount of credit hours as every other major in conjunction with completing field experience hours. Students could be required to complete up to 50 hours of field experience on top of regularly scheduled classes in a given semester.

Division III teams help support students in athletics. The Ohio Northern University women's basketball team expresses the importance of being a student first and then an athlete. Through this, students become more successful on the court and in the classroom. The qualities attained from being a student-athlete on the women's basketball team leads to successful individuals in society after college.

Strange precipitation plagues Ohio Northern

The evidence of this peculiar event can be seen across campus. Meteorologists across the nation continue to ponder why this is happening.
